Total Wellness Journey: Day 59 – Need Rest!

This is so very true.

S.H.I.F.T.

Total wellness includes getting the rest one needs for the body to rejuvenate itself on a regular basis.  I have unfortunately been neglecting this recently, and I really feel the affects.  When your life gets to the point where you have so much to do, that you don’t know where to start, that is a clear indication that you need to slow down!  You are on a fast track to depleting all your mental and physical resources without any intention of getting the rest you need to keep going.  Frustration sets in more and more, as your body become fatigued, and mind is less astute in handling the most minor situations.  You begin to snap at people, you become very agitated, and you really don’t want to be bothered by anyone.  If you keep on like this, you will begin to say and do things you will regret later.  The remedy?… REST!!!…
